An important part of the mission of Allergists for Israel is not only to bring our Israeli colleagues to international meetings, but also to encourage our members and supporters from the United States and around the world to participate in scientific and professional meetings in Israel.

We therefore encourage AFI members to consider attending the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Israel Association of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (IAACI), scheduled for December 16–18, 2026. Registration is now open, with participation available for the full conference or selected meeting days. The scientific program will be announced shortly.

The annual IAACI meeting provides an important opportunity to meet directly with our Israeli allergy and immunology colleagues, exchange scientific and clinical ideas, renew longstanding friendships, establish new collaborations, and demonstrate our continuing professional support.

For AFI, participation in the IAACI meeting also reflects one of our broader goals: strengthening the two-way bridge between the international allergy/immunology community and our colleagues in Israel. We want to help Israeli physicians, fellows, and investigators participate in international meetings, while at the same time encouraging more AFI members to travel to Israel, participate in Israeli scientific programs, and develop lasting professional collaborations.

Conference registration includes access to the scientific sessions, professional exhibition, coffee breaks, and lunch according to the meeting program. Accommodation packages are also available, with a minimum two-night stay; the registration site currently states that accommodation reservations should be made by November 10, 2026, after which availability is subject to the hotel.

We encourage our AFI members and friends to consider joining our Israeli colleagues this December. Your presence is itself an important expression of professional partnership and support.
